Brush & Trowel Demo Days: 4 – 6 pm
August 21st – Firmolux – Piatto, Venetian Plaster
NW Natural Street of Dreams
Brush & Trowel will have our concrete tables in the VIP Pavilion – see our display at the show!
It’s one of the most prestigious designer events in the Northwest. We will be joining efforts with Essence Interiors to create
“La Petite Courette”, an intimate French courtyard setting. We will be adorning the walls and surfaces with traditional old world plasters, textures and patterns. These finishes in combination with Essence Iteriors’ refined elegance and French furnishings create an imitate courtyard for dining. Featured here are two of the chairs that we will be using in the courtyard… we are so excited!

This Month’s featured product is Firmolux, a fine Italian lime plaster. We are always excited to see our plasters used to create incredible finishes. This August Shawn Burke from Bravura Finishes out of Lake Oswego demonstrates how this amazing Venetian Plaster can be applied in a commercial setting so beautifully!
Shawn used Grasso diCalce, made with refined lime and marble, it is Frimolux’s most luxurious product.
He applied it in three layers each tinted a different color. The result is a polished and professional look that will last years.
Firmolux plaster isn’t mined, its dredged from streams and river beds in Europe, so its naturally smoother, more luxurious and the perfect finish for a modern or classic look.
Here’s an soothing color that is perfect for entertaining spaces like a kitchen or great room. If you are looking for a transformational color, this Farrow & Ball paint is for you. Now you can apply this month’s color – Brassica No. 271 to your walls, ceilings, molding, cabinetry and floor! Freshen up your home with the gorgeous colors of Farrow & Ball. Available at Brush & Trowel in Portland.
We stock Farrow & Ball products in the store.
We have a wonderful selection of Cutting Edge Stencils at Brush & Trowel. This month we are featuring our most popular stencil we sell at the store – the Birch Forest Stencil. This stencil may look complicated, but its very easy to apply and you’ll have your own forest setting in any room – in just a few hours!
If you’d like this stencil, come by the store! If you are interested in learning about stencils, we use them frequently in our Demo Days and Art Classes.
